Apostates - I am one

 

I have looked through so many of the translations of the Qur’an and read through the hadith of Sahih Al-Bukhari. All my life, I have been taught that Islam was a religion of peace, Islam is the most beautiful religion and Muhammad is the most beautiful man ever on earth.

Only recently did I found out, Islam and peace is on the total opposite and Muhammad, a terror!

How many of us thought that Islam was the right path towards heaven and further away from hell. From my research, as I read through the Qur’an and Hadith, I can tell you, Islam is hell. I cried bitterly knowing the truth as I am stuck.

My parents are devout Muslims. My father is prepared to even lose his job than shave off his beard because he wants to follow the Sunnah of the prophet. My mother makes sure she follows not only all the Wajibs but also makes all the Sunnah, wajib for her.

Their strictness is beyond limits. They are the original Muslims, worshipper of Allah and follower of Muhammad. Beyond that, they are within a Jama’ah (congregation or group), and their leader is far more stricter.

And I – I am an apostate.

I am punishable in the shariah law of Islam. My punishment: a horrible death. It is stated within the Qur’an then if a Muslim leaves his/her religion, they are to be slain, if they refuse to repent.

I once had loved Islam. Once- until I knew Islam gives birth to terrorists, serial rapists and murderers.


APOSTATES:

From the Qur’an:

"Kill those who believe in many gods" (Sura al-Tawba 9:5)

"And for those among you who allow themselves to be led astray from their religion, and who die as unbelievers, their works are invalid now and in eternity" (Sura al-Baqara 2:217)

Then your Lord revealed His will to the angels: "I am with you, give courage to the believers. I will cast panic into the hearts of the unbelievers, therefore, smite their necks and beat every joint of their bodies."[12] This is because they defied Allah and His Messenger. Whoever defies Allah and His Messenger should know that Allah is strict in retribution,[13] (8:12-13) Translated by Muhammad Farooq-I-Azam Malik.

Similar verse taken from another Qur’an translator:

Recall that your Lord inspired the angels: "I am with you; so support those who believed. I will throw terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved. You may strike them above the necks, and you may strike even every finger." [12] This is what they have justly incurred by fighting GOD and His messenger. For those who fight against GOD and His messenger, GOD's retribution is severe. [13] Surah 8:12-13 by Rashad

From the sources of the Qur’an we can see that Islam do not believe in religious freedom and neither do they believe in being peace. If religion intolerance are among their preaching, how can a nation wide community with different race, religion and culture live together?

From the Hadith:

Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, said, “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari, vol. 9, bk. 84, no. 57)

The Islamic scholar and ex-Muslim Ibn Warraq explains that all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence teach this: “Under Muslim law, the male apostate must be put to death, as long as he is an adult, and in full possession of his faculties. According to Hanafis and Shia, a woman is imprisoned until she repents and adopts Islam once more, but according to the influential Ibn Hanbal, and the Malikis and Shafiites, she is also put to death.”

And it was proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever changes his religion, execute him.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari in his Saheeh.

What this hadith means is that whoever leaves Islam and changes to another religion and persists in that and does not repent, they are to be executed.

It was also proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is not permissible to shed the blood of a person who bears witness that there is no God but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah except in three cases: a life for a life, a previously-married person who commits adultery, and one who leaves Islam and forsakes the jamaa’ah.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim.

One of the hadith says that some "atheists" were brought to Ali, Muhammad’s son-in-law and cousin, who burnt them alive.

The news of this event reached Ibn Abbas [Muhammad’s cousin and highly reliable transmitter of traditions] who said, "If I had been in his [Ali’s] place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah’s Messenger forbad it, saying, ‘Do no punish anybody with Allah’s punishment (fire).’ I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah Messenger, ‘Whoever change[s] his Islamic religion, then kill him.’" (Bukhari, Apostates, no. 6922)

From Bukhari’s collection, the following hadith (below) promises a reward on the Day of Resurrection for killing apostates in the last days:

No doubt I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "During the last days there will appear some young foolish people who will say the best words but their faith will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will have no faith) and will go out from (leave) their religion as an arrow goes out of the game. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection."

These laws cover the two requirements that make an apostate liable for death and the obligation of the caliph or his representative.

A Shafi’i manual of Islamic law directs that, “When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed. In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representative) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.” ('Umdat al-Salik o8.1-2).

There is no monetary compensation for executing an apostate.
There is no indemnity for killing an apostate.

The following eighteen acts, which are broad in scope, entail leaving Islam.

• To prostrate to an idol, whether sarcastically, out of mere contrariness, or in actual conviction.
• To intend to commit unbelief, even if in the future, with the intention of hesitation whether to do so or not: one thereby immediately commits unbelief.

This law says that speaking with a clear mind and deliberation the doctrine of the Trinity makes one an apostate

• To speak words that imply unbelief such as "Allah is third of three," or "I am Allah"—unless one’s tongue has run away with one, or one is quoting another, or is one of the friends of Allah in a spiritually intoxicated state of total oblivion.
• To revile Allah or His messenger;
• To deny the existence of Allah, His beginning eternality, His endless eternality, or to deny any of His attributes which the consensus of Muslims ascribe to Him.
• To be sarcastic about Allah’s name, His command, His interdiction, His promise, or His threat.
• To deny any verse in the Koran or anything which by scholarly consensus belongs to it, or to add a verse that does not belong to it.
• To mockingly say, "I don’t know what faith is"
• To reply to someone who says, "There is no power or strength through Allah"
• When someone asks to be taught the Testification of Faith [shahada], and a Muslim refuses to teach him it.
• To describe a Muslim or someone who wants to become a Muslim in terms of unbelief (kufr).
• To deny the obligatory character of something which by the consensus of Muslims is part of Islam, when it is well known as such, like the prayer (salat) or even one rak’a [act of prostration] from one of the five obligatory prayers, if there is no excuse.
• To hold that any of Allah’s messengers or prophets are liars, or to deny them being sent.

A later legal scholar adds the following:

• To revile the religion of Islam.
• To believe that things themselves or by their own nature have causal influence independent of the will of Allah.
• To deny the existence of angels or jinn or the heavens.
• To be sarcastic about any ruling of the Sacred Law

This law leaves no room for ambiguity about the ultimate goal of Islam.

• Or to deny that Allah intended the Prophet’s message to be the religion followed by the entire world.

And they call Islam the religion of peace? Where is the peace when a religion teaches one to kill a human who has the right to walk his life his own way. Why would a Muslim need to go through punishment in his/her life on earth when Allah reveals that punishment will be held in hell? Why not allow them to live their live as they are? What are they afraid of? There many religions out there, but none has preached to kill one who walks out of their religion. Sure war and fights are around, but one does not raise his sword because he came across a disbeliever.

‘The apostate woman is to be thrown in prison until she returns to Islam or dies, being whipped thirty-nine times every day -- which is nothing less than death; uninterrupted whipping inevitably leads to death. She must be imprisoned, because she, after being a Muslim, did not give Allah the rights due him; so she must be obliged to pay back these rights by being imprisoned.’

It’s pretty scary to see such violence against woman, and they think that by saying that they would give chance to women and children by imprisoning them instead of slaying them on the spot, they thought that they are giving them a lesser sentence, but instead it is far more the worse sentence than the men! These people are truly bastards!

Far worse is what you can find within the prison for the woman. Prison is not about repenting with torture of being whipped thirty-nine times a day, every day, but women being captivated are force to indulge sexual intercourse with their captures.

Where rape is seen as a forbidden, inhuman and criminal thing. Muslim sees it as a holy rite. These bastards indulge in thoroughly making use of the captives women.

What far most of us could point out to is the injustice act of Muslims slaying every possible human, regardless even if they were as young. Humans deserve to live a life!

How many of you have heard of ‘Honor Killings?’ It is practice widely around the world!

These are examples of woman have died by their own family’s hand in the name of ‘Honor Killing’ and they were not even apostates.
